You Can Create Customized Banners
If you were thinking that creating customized banners for your website was difficult, then you are in for a pleasant surprise because it is easy to learn and simple to do. Below, I have created these standard banner sizes with minimal effort or work, and it requires no coding or technical skills to do so.
There are many tools available today on the internet that help you create banners for your website. Flags, as well as images, play a significant role in keeping your visitors interested and in promoting your products and services.
Creating a website in specific niches can be difficult when you need quality images, charts, graphs, and other visual tools to help keep your readers interested. You must be aware of copyright issues when using photos and plagiarism when writing.
After months of struggling with going to one site after another and never finding what I needed in one place, I came across a fantastic website that not only allowed me to quickly and easily create banners but also use their library of photos as well. If that were all, they provided I would have been happy, but that is just the tip of the iceberg, so to speak as they have templates for just about everything you may need or want.
Not being a real tech-savvy person myself
I needed some way to create customized banners and other types of visuals for my website. Well, I found the perfect solution with Canva. They have 50,000 pre-made templates to choose from, the most straightforward design tool I have ever used, and I use it daily.
Below are the standard banner sizes most commonly used today on the web, and I created all on their website, added my logo to the banners, and made them in the exact size they would appear on a webpage.
You can check those out, and then I will have some more examples of things I have created as well as more information about their very inexpensive membership where you can have 24/7 access to their website and tools for when you need them.
Real Value I Use Every day in my Business
I cannot stress how valuable my time or how big of help having their service at my fingertips has been. For 12.95 a month, I can make as many banners, pictures, posters, logos, presentations, and much more.
If you sign up yearly, it is less than 10.00 a month, and the best part is you can try Canve for 30 days FREE. I did, and I now cannot imagine writing without it. You can also make amazing graphics, Facebook ads, Pinterest pins, and other social media applications. Check them out below and see for yourself.
I was often confused about the standard or most common banner signs used on websites and in ads on the internet. So, I found out what they were and created a sample banner for each size so that you may use this when deciding what size banner to use for your website.

- 300 x 250 = medium rectangle
- 336 x 280 = large rectangle
- 728 x 90 = leader board
- 320 x 50 = mobile
- 320 x 100 = large mobile
- 300 x 600 = half page
- 160 x 600 = wide skyscraper
- 120 x 600 = skyscraper
- 250 x 250 = square
- 200 x 200 = small square

On the Canva website, you can type in the exact size you want when creating a banner or any other creation. They save all of your work for you automatically, which had helped me countless times when my computer lost connection, or the power went off at home.
You can upload your images to the dashboard so that you can easily incorporate personal photos, logos, and anything else you want into your creations.

What is exceptional is that you can use their templates and move everything around the way you want using real images, clip art, cartoons, backgrounds, even the ever-popular Emoji. You can control fonts, sizes, colors, as well as embed social media web links into your designs.
Special effects, branding, brochures, business cards, and the list goes on.
